This is a copy of the 2.2 sphere this round. When the round started our sphere was strong already, one of the strongest actually, we ruled the fame ranking before anyone started to war. Then porters started flowing into my sphere slowly... Now it's soo badly that we can't find a war cause everyone is scared of us, cause we have the TD and an insane ammount of actives.
So now i come to the point of my suggestion: there should be an option the SL or the sector can vote on, to shield their sphere for teleporters. So that people who teleport out of a crummy sector don't end up stacking a huge sector even more. It might also stop the realms who just port from a wonderless sector to a sector with wonder cause they don't like donating. But it's mostly to avoid a thing like 2.2 this round or 1.6 last round to happen!

whay if once a person teleported they went to one of the 3 smallest spheres, counted by the number of realms, this would make spheres more even

i agree that teleporting needs to be changed, but it may be better if the number of spheres was reduced. say start with only 2 planes. then only add more spheres to the existing planes if we have enough players.

I am not sure how the whole teleporting thing works as far as if it is a random placement of the realm. It would be difficult to change it without affecting the game. If it were based on need, Who would teleport if they know they are going to go to a weak sphere. Maybe it would be better, maybe not. Hard to say without seeing it in action. I do agree that whatever is in place should change to keep one sphere from getting all the teleporters. 1:6 couldn't buy a war after they got the teleporters last round. The ones that teleported in were really big. Couple that with a sphere that had the GW and were already having trouble getting a war and it isn't fun.
I don't know if anything can be fixed. Some of the vets just know the game too well so maybe it needs to be changed to throw a wrench in the way things are done. I feel for 2:2 this round because they are being punished for having a great start. One thing that might help is getting rid of groups all together. This wouldn't solve it on its own, but it might help. My first round was a random round and even not really knowing how to play, it was fun and there were plenty of wars. This could backfire though and all of the vets technically could get onto one group (unlikely but possible)
Chick and the others really do a great job on this game, so I have faith that they will find a fix for this. It is our job as players to help them so this game survives.

i normally go random, i'm currently in my 3rd group ever, however, mr is not like ga, ga, randomround is great, mr is a game based on teamwork and working with spheremates, hence, there r groups so that u can work with ppl u know u can rely on, if everyone went random, and enemies landed in same sphere, ppl with different policies, ways they work, etc, u gonna have a lot of intersphere problems

I agree about the teamwork aspect of it. There are some who don't work as a team though. No really, its true. even if they get partnered up with their friends they still won't work with them. I hav had a couple cases where we were close in a war and they hit outside the war. Even better yet, hit misty. Woo Hooo! Thanks for helping.

Groups need to be 4, not 6. End of story. But i'm using up my last premium this round then I'm not going to pay anymore attention to MR.

That could be the worst idea ever. Do you think teleporters want to teleport? It should be addressed on the game side. something in the code needs to be altered.

Sorry, I personally dislike teleporters a lot. I have never tped in MR nor will I ever. Most of the time i see somebody tp is cause they are getting hit in a war and cant stand it(god forbid they lose a little glory). Um, its a war game... bailing on your sphere is really cowardly and shouldn't be a part of the game. I think that a better idea would be to make a teleporter have to start there round over from nub mode if they want to teleport. That way they will only tp if they really have a problem with the sphere they are in, and this will force glory whores to stay and take the beating they deserve.
Now i haven't seen any changes in MR since ive started playing so I dont expect any. So the best option I see is to hit the teleporters til they leave if you dont want them.

Problem it sometimes happens cause their original sphere died out, that's why i teleported 2 rounds ago...Were only 4 actives. 1 quit, 1 porter and the 3rd was an utter noob, so i ported, not to bail out on a war but cause 2 actives can't find a war.
So start over isn't the right option as sometimes people teleport for good reasons.
