What do you guys think of the round so far? Some big players, heavy hitters and people holding grudges from last round from what i hear.

Fun so far, its annoying to see all the same people playing with each other (though I admit, I am playing with the same group as last round too).

I've always campaigned for more rounds with random signups because it allows people to meet/play with new people, but the vast majority of GA would rather play with friends.

what is a powerless turtle sounds like a stupid idea no sheilds and no power makes an easy target? i will nuke people for being powerless on purpose and label it as stupid

If you get targeted you go down extremely fast, but if you don't, its by far the fastest growing strategy there is. If you survive long enough to get a good lead on land, you become unkillable due to missiles doing reduced damage, unless you get half of the galaxy nuking you.

And Champ, as hypocritical as it is I agree with you, it will be much better for the game to disable group signups.

Game is still young, some people haven't finished researching basics yet. I'm sure someone will feel pissed sooner then later. I hope it's going to be me

I DO NOT understand WHY people ARE NOT robbing blind the biggest turtle in game? His income is like 2,3k million per h... no shields/crappy ops and he cant avenge your robbings with being a turtle. it`s either - people dont rob him or he is another 24h freak...

It's actually not that easy to rob him if you would want to know why he isn't robbed more. The guy doesn't sleep much.

yeah, as I said, probably another 24/h freak, and I have a hunch its that Deimos, last round he did the same strat and was really active.

For the guy that wasn't able to play seriously because he was going to be inactive. He's pretty good at seeing almost every hour change. But hey, at least he gets to use the excuse "well if i'd not had to be inactive i'd have completely owned everyone".

i found a few great banks actually cept people start arsoning for robbing excessively so i just continue to rob from them more to pay for the buildings they destroyed

well instead of robbing that guy people are robbing me. someone even told me to grow up

Things are getting sketchy with the top 10, but there are omse players that are being over looked that could be dangerous

turtling is not a bad strat but i believe that it shouldn't be easier to explore then hit. make the explore times in newbie 18 hours but out of newbie 36 hours or even 54 i say for every 1-5 land you have it should take even longer to explore.

it's a pain in the ass to keep Offensive Morale maxed, that alone makes me want to just explore

Please explain to me Chick why defense morale is SO much easier then offense. It's ridiculous, it doesn't make sense, and it encourages to turtle.

They should go back to only having military moral :/ that way you only need to research one if you turtle or not.

LOL im messing around, ive never turtled before, i got SFA as a wonder which i built on my own for my system mates, i dont care hahaI sleep like 13 hours a night, i woke up just now and its 3:30pm, ive been robbed about 35 million this round!!!!Just trying to proove how bad GA is at this time, if i can grow to b biggest in land and having been suicided on and having the worst wonder for me, just shows Chick needs to change the game!!!But i knew Abra etc were gonna KT me just didnt think this soon!!!! We're not KTing anyone. We just had some nukes lying around and my population was complaining they felt it was unsafe to live near a nuclear missile. They said either we leave or the missile leaves, so I had to send the nuke somewhere

Beer, I almost give a shit. If you're telling me that you've managed to run a powerless strategy and maintain one of the highest growths in the game whilst being the theoritical best bank in the game (13 hours sleeping ftw) then I'm gonna have to call BS.

I learnt a long time ago that what a GA player says on AIM/MSN and what they do in game are completely different kettles of fish.

And finally why is it every round you complain that you were trying to "show" the people of GA it's broken and we stopped you from doing that.

What I really find most amusing though, is you expect me and Abra to let you get huge so you can stomp us? That really makes no sense.

i mean surely you should be able to make assualts on him, one attacks, one stays at home, so the person who attacked is covered by the other one whos at home. and beat him fairly. Turtling is crasp but nuking him for it is poor performance...

Nukes or no nukes. The game is about being the biggest and winning. If you need nukes for that, I think they are good to go:) Using nukes on someone have never been an issue for me. I have one -I invest it somewhere

And Beer. 13h of sleep is a load of bs and you know it. Probably because me and buddy keep a close eye on your bank roll:) And there aren't many times you've been away for more than 3 hours. Today was an exception, and it gave a nice pay:)

ive had plenty of time si have had 13 hours sleep this round!!!!

All of yesterday i was away, today i was a bank

start of round i hardly logged in and accidently even went powerless in n00b mode!!!

Sometimes if i can i log in for 2 mins on my phone and try spend my cash!!! so maybe u rob when ever i log in after 4-5 hours on my phone, either way i cant b as active at home (where i am now) than at university (where im leaving for in a sec)

I am not complaining, nuke me do what u want, i dont wanna rgue cos we will just go round in circles, lets just make this a fun round!!! :-)

Firstly, I understand how this game loves it's turtles. The idea of someone that plays a War game by doing war related activities winning a round is blasphemy. We can't assualt him because there are plenty of people that would suicide on us if we sent that amount of troops out.

This is a strategy game, with the exception of time everyone in this game has the same resources as everyone else. It's using what you have available to you to your advantage. Like I said before, letting Beer get to 10 or 12k land without any competition, converting back to a powered planet and then stomping me down does not sound like a good plan from my perspective. Throwing a few nukes and a couple of raids to slow him down is fully justified in my opinion.

And Beer take it as a compliment, 2 rounds in a row you've been deemed a big enough threat for me and Abra to do something about you.

But since myself and Abra are going to get KTd for attacking planets, it makes no difference anyway.

And here's a little hint. 11k AAVs is not acceptable defense for 300 land.

This is something that bugs me as well.. It should definately be the other way around. And as far as I'm concerned make it really really really hard to keep up with defense morale
And don't ever change it back to just military morale nosfer....

My strat was to explore like mad, not everyone plays this game to nuke someone cos their a threat, usually i just assault them etc thats fun enough for me. i agree with nosfer sleep is greatly needed and its just a game and its funny how everybody gets KTD for no reason nowadays and BEER gets DT for being powerless thats funny i want in some of this action i want a whole galaxy war

I do love how whenever the idea of someone being good at an online game comes into play they must suddenly be no-lifers.

Some of us are uni students who can access the internet during the day back in our halls or in lectures. Some of us have this thing called a job with a computer and an internet connection. You can even play GA on your phone, so if need be you can spend your cash and do what you need whilst away from your pc.

Unless having a real life involves living in a cave, it's not unrealistic for someone to log in every few hours.

These past 3 weeks i have been on Easter holidays, doing absolutely nothing, the only reason i wasnt gonna play this round and why i havent been as active as usual is ive had some stuff to sort out and had this huge graduate assessment day in London and had presentations etc to do so didnt want it getting in the way, but when ur a turtle life is easy, u log in and explore, you dont need to find a hit!!!

Once i have a real job after uni i wont b playing GA as wont have the time or want to play GA!!!

If your at uni ull agree with BA too, SOOOO MUCH free time!!!! I go out clubbing loads, i get in, log on, spend cash go bed!!! All these u have no life is so stupid, ive tried robbing a few peeps that say this and i never get decent cash so pipe down!!!!

Just don't hit after going out. Intoxicated or not you will fail the attack or suicide. Last round was the best I came in slightly pissed and sent out all of my SFs leaving me completely open.
