After a discussion with Chick last night, she agreed to remove my lifetime ban and allow me to return to the game under one circumstance.

Im posting in the PFs to make her life easier, this way everyone has proof that if I ever cheat in any way, she can enforce the lifetime ban without anyone giving her any grief.

See everyone next round!

Thanks Chick.

Earlier this round, I discovered that Sig was playing GA again. I disabled him, and after a series of email exchanges in which he pleaded to be allowed to continue, swearing that he wasn't cheating any more and never would again, I let him continue.

At that time, I sent the following email to him, and he agreed to this and made the post that started this thread:

"Ok, then here's the deal.

You get to post in the Public Forum that you have convinced me that you are playing honestly and want to continue thus. Include the statement that our agreement is if you get caught cheating again, in any way ever, the lifetime ban goes back on and there won't be another chance.

I want this public, so that if it does happen, it's clear that you caused it yourself. I'm tired of taking grief because I insist that GA be an honest game.

You may continue to play until such time as you're caught cheating, and if that ever happens, I'll make everything about it public.

If that's agreeable to you, make the post in the PF and email me back and tell me, then I'll rescind the lifetime ban.

Chick"

Sig continued to cheat in various ways for the remainder of the round, and he is once again banned for life, and I promise all of you, I will never relent or give him another inch of tolerance.

I sincerely hope those who know him will contact me privately if they discover he has found a way to get back in, and I certainly won't reveal who tells me such info.

Sig, any attempt to play any OLW game will result in the deletion of your account without discussion or recovery. Period.

For the record, I've decided to post the evidence of his continued cheating, so there will never again be any doubt about it. I'm tired of the hassle I get every time I put a stop to it, and I expect all of you to help me instead of berating me for banning a remorseless cheater.

Those of you who have been involved with him in various ways, such as the owner of the Tutankhamun account and of the HackedPlanet account, this is your final notice as well. If you so much as allow Sig to log in to your account or from your computer, you will be banned for life along with him.

This first example shows Sig (originally Napoleon Bonaparte) using the Tutankhamun account to spy on Blackberry Storm and then logging back into his own to make the assault. This is only one of several times this happened.

And before Tut tries to tell me that he was at Sig's house and did the spying for him, I want to point out something that I've told them many times,

"Family members or friends are welcome to play this game from the same computer. However, the game administration will be watching for people playing more than one account, so in order to avoid suspicion of game rule violations, each person must take great care to play their account totally independently from the others. Sharing targets or helping each other by probing, attacking, or using one account to improve another will be deemed evidence of a multiple account and will result in all the accounts being deleted." -- Game Rules

This example shows Sig using the Tutankhamun account to find a good robbery target, then using his own account to rob it.

And last but not least, Sig got a login/password from someone (I've changed the name to HackedPlanet for privacy) and trashed his planet.. I already knew from the Computer ID who it was, but the hacked player also told me independently who he had given the password to -- SignatureGA.

These are only a few of them many examples of Sig's continued cheating and the reason he is being permanently banned.

I don't understand the motive behind cheating in a game. Winning by cheating wouldn't make me feel as good as winning without cheating.
If you are going to play the game cheating, then you don't need to play the game at all.
There are those of us, me, that haven't cheated at this game EVER.
Give us a chance.

If i find you cheating or have a slight whim of ANY expected cheating, i WILL bring it to chick's attention.

I just can't believe that there would be people that would stoop that low...
Frigus Prime
for a person who cheated he was very low ranking most of the game compared to players that did not cheat... so he mustrealy suk at the game whit out cheating what kind player u think he whould be if he won't cheat? top 20 top 40 ?
The Dark Lord
I just dont understand why anybody would want to cheat at GA. I mean finishing first is great and all, but it has no semblance in your personal life, so why waste the time? I'm positive the majority of the population of the normal world wouldnt care if you won a game on the internet.
Gavrazor
He would have gotten away with it too If it wern't for you meddling kids! laugh.gif
